We are a Board-governed state agency. Our two-day Board events are held quarterly, rotating throughout our 24-county service area and Sacramento. The public is invited to attend.

September 2 & 3, 2026
June Lake, Mono County
September 2—A field tour featuring nearby project locations that reduced fuels to build healthier forests, protect communities, and boost sustainable tourism and outdoor access.
September 3—Governing Board meeting approved new recreation and tourism grants and shared an update on a grant to support community coexistence with gray wolves.
