How to Get a State Job
Applying for a state job is different than the private sector. All state of California jobs, and application guides, are on CalCareers.
Why Join SNC?
Since its inception in 2004, the SNC has worked to improve the environmental, economic, and social well-being of California’s Sierra-Cascade. This includes helping make communities safer from wildfires, creating new opportunities to enjoy public lands, and protecting the region’s rich biodiversity and natural resources.
The SNC values diversity and is committed to creating a welcoming environment for employees from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, and personal experiences. A diverse staff helps SNC to understand and respond to the many needs of its large and varied service area.
State employment also offers many great benefits, like health care, a pension, student loan forgiveness, hybrid telework, and alternative work schedules.
