As a California state government agency, the Sierra Nevada Conservancy (SNC) maintains records that are often of interest to the public. Under the California Public Records Act 2004 ( et seq) information may be reviewed by the public.
The public may review records at SNC’s Auburn office during normal business working hours. Members of the public can request copies of information by submitting a request in writing (US Mail, email, or fax) to SNC:
Where records are available electronically, they will be provided to the requestor electronically. If documents are not available electronically, hard copies will be provided at ten cents ($0.10) per page for documents over 30 pages. If you have questions about requesting information from the SNC, please email PRA@sierranevada.ca.gov.
