Brittany Covich is the Policy and Outreach Branch Manager with the Sierra Nevada Conservancy (SNC). In this role, Brittany draws on a wealth of SNC experience to provide strategic direction and day-to-day oversight to SNC’s science, mapping, communications, community support, and policy work. These programs highlight the array of benefits that the Sierra Nevada Region provides for California, communicate the challenges that the Region faces, and outline how SNC’s programs are helping to address those challenges.
Brittany started with SNC in 2007 after earning a BA in geography from California State University, Chico. Her twelve years of SNC service include working in the grants program, serving as Central Subregion representative, and, most recently, leading the SNC’s communications team. Brittany is a life-long Sierra Nevada resident, and spends her free time hiking, biking, paddling, and camping in the region with her family.
