Autumn began working with the Sierra Nevada Conservancy in May of 2009 after working two years with the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service. With the NRCS, she was able to work on the land with local farmers and ranchers. This experience influenced the career path that she wanted to take.
Autumn lived in a small mountain community in Southern California until her parents moved to Mariposa when she was a teen. She graduated from Mariposa County High School. After high school, she attended Merced College and graduated with an AA Degree in Liberal Studies. She is still in Mariposa and feels fortunate to call the small community home. Autumn and her husband raise horses and cattle and enjoy a ranching lifestyle that the Sierra Nevada provides.
Currently, Autumn provides administrative and support services to the Mt. Whitney Area staff as well as the Sierra Nevada Conservancy’s Watershed Improvement Program.
