Amy Lussier has spent fourteen years performing administrative functions for the state of California. She was hired at the Sierra Nevada Conservancy in 2008. As the Administrative Services Division Chief, Amy is responsible for day-to-day management of the organization’s budgets, accounting, human resources, business services, and information technology functions. Prior to working for the SNC, Amy served as the California Conservation Corps (CCC) Central District Analyst. There she assisted the District Director with a variety of tasks to ensure the CCC Centers had the resources necessary to promote youth development and land conservation projects. Amy began her State career at the Department of Transportations (DOT) District 2 Office in Redding, where she assisted the Administrative Division and Public Information Office. To expand her career in state government and complete her education, she transferred to DOT’s headquarters office in Sacramento. There she worked in the Resource Management and Procurement and Contracts Divisions. Amy holds a BA Degree in Communication Studies with an emphasis in Public Relations from Sacramento State University. She is married to CCC Greenwood Project Coordinator, Brian Lussier, and they have a son, Blake. Amy loves living and working in Placer County. Working for the CCC gave her the conservation bug, so she feels fulfilled working for an organization that is protecting the environment. In her spare time, Amy enjoys camping with her family in the Sierra.
