Sierra Nevada Watershed Improvement Program (WIP)

Partner Webinar
Held Thursday, October 8, 2015

The challenges facing us in the Sierra Nevada in the form of drought, tree mortality, uncharacteristically large fires, poor air quality and climate change require bold action. As a result, in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service, we launched the Watershed Improvement Program in March 2015.

Meeting Purpose

A webinar was held on October 8, 2015 to discuss the present status and future plans for the Watershed Improvement Program and the California Headwaters Designation, and to introduce opportunities to leverage our partners organizational goals and projects through these two programs.

Organizations who are interested in supporting the Sierra Nevada Watershed Improvement Program and engaging in policy, funding, communications, or implementation discussions can visit the Endorsement Page for additional information.
