Biography:

Terrence O’Brien, 65, of Sacramento, is a former deputy director of the California Energy Commission. He has worked as a consultant to the Bureau of Land Management on renewable energy issues and was a senior consultant at Environmental Resources Management until March of 2017.  Mr. O’Brien spent five decades hiking in the Sierra as well as California’s other mountain ranges and deserts.  He earned a master’s degree in geography from the University of California, Davis and a bachelor’s degree in geography from the University of California, Berkeley.
