On Saturday, September 19, 2015, nearly 3,000 volunteers joined together to remove more than 61 tons of trash and recyclables from rivers throughout the Sierra Nevada as part of the Seventh Annual Great Sierra River Cleanup.   • 135,050 pounds total waste removed
    – 127,668 pounds of trash
    – 7,382 pounds of recyclables
  • 45 cleanup sites
  • 126 river miles cleaned
